Many
unwanted animals are given a second chance through the shelter's
pet adoption program. Adoption fees pay for necessary services such
as spay/neuter of the pet, vaccinations, microchip, flea prevention,
heartworm test (dogs), and a physical exam. Adopting a pet from
Animal Services is often an excellent alternative for those looking
to acquire a companion.
Also
view a partial listing of our pets for adoption at petharbor.com,
petfinder.com
or pets911.com. Sometimes puppies
and small dogs are adopted before they can be listed on our website,
so it's allows a good idea to visit our facility often.
Also,
some of our cats for adoption can be found
at the Petsmart on E. State Street and Rt. 173.
Our
kennel hours are Monday & Wednesday, 11am until 7pm; Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday, 11am until 5pm; and Saturday, 10 am until 4pm.
Closed on Sunday.
Adoptions
end 1/2 hour before the kennel closes
each day.
